Alexandros Vradis (Professor)

Born in Athens where he completed his basic education. He is a graduate of the Physics Department of the University of Patras (1974) and has a Ph.D degree from this department (1984). He is working in the Solid State Laboratory since its foundation. During the years 1984-86 he was a visiting research fellow in the Electronic & Electrical Engineering Labs of the University of Kent at Canterbury, U.K.
SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS
Experimental studies of electronic and structual properties of materials. Inelastic x- and γ-ray scattering. Polymers Physics. Neutron scattering. Solid State Devices.
TEACHING EXPERIENCE
In the Physics Department he has taught courses in General Physics, Statistical Physics, Oscillations and Wave Physics, Solid State Physics. He has also participate in Laboratory Demonstration in: General Physics, Electricity and Magnetism, Optics, Solid State Physics. At the University of Kent at Canterbury he had tutorial classes at the Electronics and Electrical Engineering Laboratories and Laboratories supervisions.
Also General physics at the Department of Mathematics and Department of Chemistry, University of Patras.
